Apple Orchard - Fall 2023

This week starts our first week of getting back to schools after a nice summer vacation with our kiddos. The summer sure went fast but we are ready to kick off our Fall 2023 Preschool season with a brand new prop set-Apple Orchard!

I grew up in Michigan and one Autumn activity I always loved as a kid was going to the apple orchards to pick apples, eat caramel apples and we always came home with some delicious fresh apple cider. I was inspired by this backdrop to recreate my childhood memory and bring the apple orchards to the preschool kids this season.

We had a new little model this time. Sweet Charlie girl looks absolutely adorable in these samples we took at our studio. She loved the apples but didn't want to hold them. :)

On a personal note, putting this season's set together was a little rough for this momma as it was the first year that both of our boys are officially "too old" to use for Preschool Samples. It's hard to process that those windows of time are now closed. I am grateful for all of the years they modeled for us and because they knew it was for our job, they always did their best smiles. Of course, they still model for me, if I ask, with minimal complaint or bribery.

The set was a lot of fun to make. My hope is that parents and the kids we photograph this season love it like I do. And YES, I did craft those awesome looking caramel apples myself and I was thrilled with how realistic they look. Good enough to eat, but let's hope no one tries!
